Job Summary:
The District Public Health Specialist will play a key role in assessing, planning, and implementing public health initiatives across the district. The position involves working with local health teams, monitoring public health outcomes, and providing expert guidance to improve community health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead public health programs and initiatives at the district level.
- Assess community health needs and develop targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with local healthcare teams, government agencies, and NGOs to implement health strategies.
- Monitor public health trends and report findings to senior management.
- Provide technical expertise in disease prevention, health promotion, and policy development.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate the community on health matters.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Science (MSc.), preferably in Public Health or related field.
- Strong background in public health management and community health programs.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across the district.
- Experience in data analysis and public health reporting is an advantage.
